The Highlander girls and boys track and field teams concluded the relay portion of the outdoor season with the Union County Relay Championships that was held on May 1st and 2nd at Hubstine Field in Plainfield. Union County produces high quality racing, having 2019 indoor state champions in each of the girls open 400, 800 and 1600 events, and the boys open 800 event, as well as the girls and boys 4×400 relay events.
