Chris Heckelman, whose Union County title-winning race has fast become the stuff of legend, has been selected as Union County Conference Boys “Cross Country Runner of the Year” in a vote of the Conference’s coaches.
Heckelman was also named First Team, All-Conference on the boys side, with Summit’s Hannah Russo earning identical honors on the girls All-County Conference Team
