Ryan Barber is Summit’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week.The senior co-captain pushed his season batting average to .349 last week. Barber, who has played six different positions this year, now has 64 hits and a .410 batting average over his two-year varsity career. Barber has also assumed a larger pitching role this year, and has five scoreless relief appearances to date. Barber’s steady, selfless play has been a shining example for the Hilltoppers since he joined the program.
