Rebecca Harris is Summit’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week.Harris is in her second season of playing flag football. As a two-year starter at quarterback, she has recorded 1,288 passing yards—618 of them this season—and 658 rushing yards in her career. Rebecca’s performance on the field was outstanding in her last game against Roselle. She threw two touchdowns for 100 yards and rushed for another. She was 10 for18 in completions, totaling 177 yards, while rushing for 58 yards with five carries. Her leadership on the field builds trust with her receivers and allows her to take control of the offense. Her ability to make quick decisions, combined with her coachability, is what makes her such a great player.
