Nina Ernest is Linden’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week
Ernest is a senior QB/LB on Linden’s girls’ Flag Football Team.
Early in the season, Nina was a role player on the team. She worked hard, studied film, and continued to practice with the determination to become a star. She became a starter on defense after the third game, and when Linden’s starting quarterback got injured in Week 4, Ernest also became the starting quarterback. With her leadership, work ethic, and tenacity, Liden’s flag football team went 5 and 1 over the next 6 games. Nina is a mentor to the young players. Nina does all this and puts forth a commitment that many should follow.
