Nigel Vincente is Union’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week.
Vincente, a senior, has made a name for himself this season as the starting goalkeeper for the Union soccer team. In his first year in the starting role, Nigel has been a key factor in the team’s success, bringing energy, confidence, and reliability to the back line. Over the course of 18 starts, he has recorded more than 70 saves, consistently coming up big when his team needs him most.
Nigel’s standout performances include a 10-save effort in a 3-1 victory over Columbia and an incredible 13 saves against Dover. Nigel’s emergence as the starting keeper has been a major boost for the Farmers, proving that hard work and perseverance can lead to breakout success
