Maya Hardy is Kent Place’s Union County Conference Athlete of the Week.
Hary is a senior middle and team captain for the Kent Place Volleyball Team. Maya has continuously shone as one of the program’s most dominant hitters and blockers. Her powerful presence at the net and consistent leadership have made a tremendous impact in every match this season.
Currently sitting at 246 career kills, Maya is just four away from reaching the remarkable milestone of 250 career kills — a true testament to her dedication, skill, and competitive spirit. Averaging 5 kills and 2 blocks per match, she has been a driving force in the Dragons’ success. Maya has already surpassed her previous season high total for blocks at 28 with at least 4 games to go.
Maya has her place among the top performers in Kent Place Volleyball history, and will leave a legacy as one of the school’s greatest Middle Blockers. Her leadership as captain, paired with her defensive and offensive skillfulness, has made her a standout in Union County volleyball. Maya has truly earned the title of Athlete of the Week.
