Jesus Diaz is Hillside’s Union County Conference Athlete of The Week
Diaz is Hillside’s libero and he is crucial for the team’s defense and success. Not only is he the best passer and receiver (283 digs) on the team, but he also does a great job as Hillside’s second setter (24 assists) when we are out of system. Diaz is the captain of the team and shows his leadership everyday on and off the court. This year, Diaz has 7 kills, 24 assists, 76 service points, 23 aces, and 283 digs. Last week, Diaz became Hillside all-time dig leader with 372!
