Craig Clarke is Elizabeth’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week.
Clarke, a senior, had a phenomenal week of school record breaking moments and he qualified for Individual State Meet of Champions!
At the Union County Championships, Craig smashed three individual school records. He broke the 50 freestyle record with a 22.59, the 100 free record with a 23.52, and the 200 individual medley with a 1:59.84. His individual medley time qualified him for the State Meet of Champions.
On Tuesday against Cranford, Craig swam the 100 breaststroke, beating the school record with a 1:02.99. He followed that up the next day against Scotch Plains breaking his own personal school record for the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.50
