Track and field star Nyjae Shipley has been named Rahway’s Union County Conference Female Athlete of the Week
Shipley won her first outdoor sectional title by winning the 100 hurdles at the North Jersey, Section 2 2 Group 3 Championships. She also finished second in the 100 dash, sixth in the 200, and ran on the fifth-place 4×100 relay.
