Nicole Cassano is a four-year Gold letterwinner and starter for the Johnson softball team. In 2017, she hit .303 and was 4-3 on the mound. She is captain of both the soccer and softball teams.

Brandon Hund is an Johnson junior lacrosse player. He had eight goals, four assists and 12 ground balls in games against Voorhees, Glen Rock and Robbinsville this past week. This brings his season totals to 11 goals, five assists and 19 ground balls. Brandon is a captain and is committed to continue his paying career at Towson.

Kaitlyn Cumiskey (Class of 2020) had a week for the ages at New Providence High School as a member of the girls lacrosse team. Over the course of the last three games, Kaitlyn has put up an impressive 19 goals and four assists, which included a game winner in overtime to cap a 14-13 victory against Watchung Hills. Kaitlyn surpassed the 100 career goal milestone on April 10th in a victory over Villa Walsh, an incredible accomplishment so early into her sophomore season. In total, Kaitlyn has helped lead the girls’ lacrosse team in the early going by tallying 29 goals and nine assists over the course of the season thus far.

Rey Torres (Class of 2019) had a strong first meet of the spring season for New Providence High School, running and scoring in three events, helping the boys team to 4th place at the Raritan Relays. Rey ran 1:00.51 in the 400m hurdles, anchored the 4x200m relay in 23.0 seconds, and anchored the Sprint Medley Relay with a 54.2 in the 400m, the longest leg of the race. Rey’s preparation this season has been impeccable, and his results in the first meet of the season point to many more strong results to come.
