Two regular-season losses to Livingston didn’t impact the Westfield High School boys ice hockey team in its quest for a McInnis Cup.

The second-seeded Blue Devils got past the top-seeded Lancers, 5-2, in Thursday’s final at Codey Arena in West Orange.

In a top-15 matchup between the conference rivals, Westfield senior and captain Thomas Conrod put in two goals and an assist, fellow senior Matt Beke added a goal and two assists, sophomore Alex Ebel and freshman Aidan Wilson found the net and freshman Logan Martel and senior Spencer Brown had assists. Blue Devil senior goalie Jake Watson stopped 28 shots.
