Evan Weinberg – Jonathan Dayton: Evan led the team  to a 13-0 record and was a key contributor to the team’s conference bowing championship. He helped the team qualify for the state finals and as an individual he finished with the highest average in Union County with a 222 mark. This put him in top six in the state for the category, He placed fourth in the state tournament and received a medal for the second highest game in the state tournament with a 279.

Khalief Crawford – Linden: ​Khalief has scored in double figures in all but five games for the Tigers this year, and eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career last week. Averaging 14.7 points, per game, Khalief is the second leading scorer on the team. He also averages 4.2 rebound per game. Khalief was a major reason for the Tigers reaching the Union County boys basketball finals this season and also earning the #1 seed in the tournament.

Nyshaya Holmes – Linden HS: Nyshaya is averaging over 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game for the season. Only a sophomore, Nyshaya went for career highs in the first round of the county tournament versus Plainfield, scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. She has improved over the course of the season, averaging 16 points and eight rebounds the second half of the year. Nyshaya has had an an excellent start to her career at Linden High School and is a huge reason why they have doubled their win total from last season.

Lauren Boyd – Governor Livingston: Lauren is a senior on the Indoor Track team. She was the NJSIAA Central Group 2 Champion, NJSIAA Group 2 Championships 3rd Place, UCIAC Individual Championships 2nd Place and holds school record (39 feet 10 inches).

Turner Haddad – Governor Livingston: Turner is a senior on the wrestling team. His record was 30-3 as of this week. He had 100 career wins and counting. He took 1st place at Mountain Lakes Tournament, 2nd place Union County Tournament and was District 14 Champion.
