Victoria “Tori” Gilliard is a senior track athlete at Benedictine Academy. She has been running track since the age of 12 and joined the Benedictine Track Team in 2014 as a sprinter. Her events include the 55 meter, 100 meter, 200 meter, 4 x 1 meter relay, and long jump. She has won the 2016 state championship in the 55 meter dash and recently became the county conference 100 meter champion in the valley division. She is currently the captain of the track and field team. Tori comes from a family of athletes and says her favorite part of running track is the camaraderie of her team. She is yet to commit to a college but hopes on studying finance in the near future.
