Samvit Choudhary has been named New Providence’s Union County Conference Male Athlete of the Week.
Choudhary, a sophomore, has been an integral piece of the New Providence boys tennis team all season, in particular this last week as the team has advanced all the way to the state sectional championship.
While managing the high expectations he places upon himself with every match that he plays, he competes with the confidence of a seasoned upperclassman. As New Providence heads into the NJSIAA State Tournament Sectional Finals on Monday, June 5th , Samvit leads the team in wins with a record of 12-5, plus he earned a 4th place finish at 3rd Singles in last week’s Union County Tournament.
