Kent Place is proud to announce that Anne Bugliari has been named the Union County Conference Athlete of the Week for her exceptional contributions to the Dragons’ Varsity Basketball program. Anne is a four year varsity forward and a captain of the basketball team.
Throughout the early stages of the season, Anne has emerged as a vital leader for the Dragons. Her ability to foster a supportive, hardworking, and inclusive environment has been instrumental in navigating the inevitable highs and lows of the competitive season. Anne’s leadership style is defined by her “team-first” mentality, a trait that resonates with both her teammates and coaching staff.
Statistically, Anne is off to a dominant start. A force on the defensive end, she is currently averaging one block per game, totaling eight blocks thus far. This performance places her among the top 15 shot-blockers in all of Union County.
In addition to her defensive prowess, Anne has proven to be an elite facilitator. With 15 assists on the season, she ranks among the top 30 in the county for assists, consistently prioritizing high-percentage opportunities for her teammates. Her vision on the court and unselfish style of play are a direct reflection of her dedication to the program’s collective success.
