Ray Arocha – Roselle Park: Ray went 6 -11,  scored five runs and knocked in seven during a four game stretch last week.  The senior outfielder was walked twice and was hit by three pitches. This performance improved his batting average to .464 on the season. Ray is a captain and leader of the team. He can play multiple positions and has also recorded three saves on the year as a pitcher.

Madison Hummel – Roselle Park: During last week’s action, Madison pitched Roselle Park to three victories over Cranford, Dayton, and Brearley, including a five inning no hitter in the Dayton win. The junior recorded 25 strikeouts in 19 innings pitched to up her record to 9-0 through last Thursday’s game. At the plate, she went 5 for 11, with four RBI’s to bring her batting average to .432 so far this season.

Amber Bretz – Scotch Plains-Fanwood: In the previous three games Amber has scored nine goals, had one assist, 10 ground balls and 12 draw controls.

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood HS Boys 4×400 team took first place in the event Saturday, April 28 at Penn Their finish time was 3:26.22 with the following splits; Justin Sanders (senior) 53.31; Kyle Estivene (junior) 51.34; Max Toll (senior) 52.20; Jacob Leigh (junior) 49.59.
