Tavon Jones – Linden: This past week, Tavon averaged 30.8 points per game in a five game span, which included a 40 point outburst vs. conference foe Elizabeth. During this five game stretch, Tavon was able to guide his Linden basketball team to a 4-1 week and an overall record of 17-5 heading into the Union County and state tournaments.
Renee Rocha – Linden: Renee is averaging nearly a double-double in both points and rebounds this season. The freshman averaged 14.3 points and 14.3 rebounds per game this past week. Renee has a 94 cumulative GPA and is a three-sport athlete, competing in soccer, basketball, and softball.
